Write On is a play on the old, old saying “right on” meaning that is “correct” or “I agree with you”. Write on means to grab a pen and paper, or your favorite pen and a greeting card, and write.
Write to your friend who is in the second month of battling cancer. Write to a grandparent to share favorite memories, to express appreciation. Write a thank you to a parent. Write a Hello to a friend who has just popped to mind while reading this. Doodle an image that will create a smile. Doodle a scene that captures a happy memory.
Write on. Some people write the note on a practice sheet of paper – to get the wording right or to practice the spacing so room doesn’t run out.
Spend five minutes or more and you may feel yourself gaining happiness because of writing a card or note to a friend, a family member, a colleague, or long ago associate who mentored you.
Who will receive your written card?
