Nesting

Nesting: Words

Words express ideas, feelings, and care. “Choose your words carefully” may be something you’ve heard over the years. When sending a card or note, what matters most is that you express sincere thoughts with your heartfelt message.

The Summer 2021 issue of Smart Women Smart Money magazine includes a column that suggests how meaningful and everlasting impact can be made by sending someone a handwritten note or thank you card when fitting. Carolyn Holly shares that she keeps the cards she receives and remembers fondly each sender when she looks at the cards. Carolyn also hints that some might think a handwritten note is old-school, but “she thinks it is classy! Someone took the time to go beyond some finger tapping, took out a pen, a card, and poured their appreciation into some very meaningful words.”

We all know it – receiving a card in the mail means a lot. It prompts us to remember the sender, remember the deed or activity shared, or the stories being shared.

Words for Free and the Blogs on this site provide plenty of sources and ideas for word you might write.
