Two cards make a duet of note writing. One from you to someone else; and one back from them. Or, one card tucked inside of another creates a doublet of greetings and recipient surprise.
Start your message on the first card, continue it in the second, smaller card.
Tell a story in one card and include a message about the coming week in the other. People enjoy hearing about others’ activities.
Wish someone a happy birthday in the first card and share a funny story from years prior in the smaller card. You’ll create a keepsake memory.
Send happy anniversary wishes in the first card and tell a favorite story from a time you all spent together in the second. Smiles are likely to follow.
Create a letter exchange. You write your letter or greeting in the larger card. Pre-stamp and address the smaller card to return to you. In the larger card, include the invitation “Use the enclosed pre-stamped card to drop me a line. Would love to hear from you.”
Two cards with one message “I’m thinking about you with warmth and care!”
Whatever messages you choose to share, know that sending a card – or two – will brighten another person’s day. May even brighten the week!
